We came upon this tea house because we love doing afternoon tea and we had an amazing experience. The staff were so friendly and helped us pick our tea and then the pastries were bomb dot com. The toasts were a pleasant surprise because we didn’t have any expectations but all three of them were delicious! The ube salted caramel blondie was another standout. Overall a great experience and I will definitely be back!

I found the workers friendly. The tea was delicious and so was their seasonal scone. I liked how easy it was to talk inside because it was fairly quiet . Parking was plentiful when we went. I would love to come back.

Such a beautiful afternoon tea experience to be had in Pasadena. Everything was vegan and housemade — I could truly taste the thought and care in every bite. The miso hummus toast on sourdough, chocolate chip cookie, and oolong tea (Flowers in December) were my tops! But the true highlight was the welcoming nature of the owner herself who, upon hearing it was my birthday, brought out a beautiful Taiwanese snack plate (approved by my Taiwanese mother). Felt so at home at Callisto and highly recommend the delicate, tranquil experience that they have to offer!

10/10 experience! I hope everyone comes here. The tea experience was wonderful and the pricing was very good. It’s so nice to have a vegan afternoon tea (some of the times have a none vegan option as well). The lemon and ginger scone with vegan cream was my favorite. The staff is so knowledgeable. Thank you to Wendy for sharing all of her knowledge about the different teas we were considering. Will definitely return sometime to do the tea tasting. Also, I saw signs for community events which is very cool.

Cozy tea house with absolutely delicious food and tea. We love to have afternoon tea here after a visit to the Huntington Library. Best of all, they have vegan options. The tea service is delicious, from the toasts to the scones and of course, the tea. The Red Queen (black tea) is one of the best black teas I’ve ever tasted. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Such a treat to spend an hour here after walking the gardens and museums of the library. Can’t recommend Callisto enough!
